Ultimate travel bucket list

With it seeming like EVERYONE is away off sunning it up somewhere in the world right about now, it's set off my urge to get out there and see new places. It doesn't help when I see bloggers like Naty Michele who over the past year or two has went off and traveled solo, something that looks so amazing to do if your brave enough. For me this would be my dream way to travel, just by myself, no plans, not having to rely on anyone else, just alone time doing what you want to do, bliss! I've always had a thing for wanting to just pack up and set off to see the world. I had this plan that when I left school at 18 I would take a gap year and just head off, as soon as I turned 18 and the time came to leave school I soon realized it's not simple. That I maybe should have found a job and started saving for a while first, so off to college for 3 years it was. And I never did it...not yet anyway.

For me growing up my whole life I've always went on caravan holidays in the UK, which I still do and I'm going back to the same holiday camp this summer that I've been going to for the past 15 years. There is a part of me that still loves bits of that kind of holiday, then there is a lot of me that knows there is so much more to see and do out there. I've only ever been abroad twice, the first time was to Benidorm when I was 17. I went with my Granny, Granda and Aunty, it was January and the part we stayed at was full of pensioners so you can imagine how fun that was for a 17 year old on her first time abroad. Then I went to Salou in Spain a couple years later with my family, I loved knowing that when you woke up it was gonna be great weather all day, we were always off out exploring somewhere new. But my family wasn't keen on all the hassle with airports and luggage and stuff so it kinda put a stop to us ever going abroad again. That's the one good thing about staying within the UK, you can just jump in the car with as much stuff as you need to take, no baggage limits, no wasting time sitting around airports. Don't get me wrong I do love caravan holidays, I have seen a lot of places going around the UK, the most exciting place is when I went to London for 10 days in 2013. There is stuff still to see and do staying at home if you look in the right places.

But I think I will always have that urge to see what I'm missing out on. So I've put together my ultimate bucket list of the places I want to or should I say I will see at one point in my life.

There you have it, the places in the world where I would most like to visit, I'm sure I'll come across way more than that over the years but these are the main one's I've been wanting to visit for a while.

I'm thinking of following this post up with more travel pieces by breaking down the countries that I do have on my bucket list, going into why I want to visit them and what the place is all about, whats to see and do there kinda thing. I have done something like this before based on Edinburgh so give that a nosey and let me know what you think of something like that in the comments or on any of my social media sites. Share where your favorite place in the world is to go, or where do you really really wanna go to someday? I'm always looking for new ideas or to learn from people who have actually experienced the places I wanna go to.
